It could be like last week when Bullard gave up points late in the 56-28 win over Madera. The Knights defensive coordinator Yosef Fares pulled out all the starters and Madera scored some points.

Pag Meter says that this is the game of the week. Sanger leads the all time series 19-15 over Edison. The Apaches always plays the Tigers tough. The defending valley champions only loss last year was to Sanger. Both defenses are playing at a high level so this game will come down to the offensive side of the ball. The Tigers defense will be even better now with Robbie Quinn and Jason Murray taking it over. In Sanger’s only loss this year it was to Lemoore and the Apaches fumbled a bunch of times and they can’t afford to put the ball on the ground and expect to win. Edison played a killer non league schedule and the offense was absolutely the worse in division 1 in every aspect of the game. That being said, the Tigers are a completely different team now with new QB Gerard Mendez who threw for 225 yards in his 1st game last friday beating Memorial 19-7. Both teams will want to pound it right at each other. The Apaches will feature running back Isaiah Hilliard and the Tigers have new star La-rue Temple. The X factor in the this game is the passing game. The Apaches hate throwing the football but will have to in situations to keep the Tigers from loading the box. Can the Apaches hit the big pass? The Edison offensive gameplan is not a home run hitting team with the wide receivers dropping so many footballs this year. Edison will want to work the clock and run between the tackles. Sanger is the classic triple option team and will milk the clock with 8 minute drives. This game could be the 1st team to 21 points wins...
