Mariah Mazon fired her 3rd shutout of the playoffs on a 1-hitter. Tigers pitcher Samantha Martinez pitched outstanding in the loss on a 2-hitter. Mazon, an Oregon State verbal commit and another player that Fresno State let slip away, is one of the state's top college softball recruits for the Class of 2017. In three playoff games, Mazon allowed just 7 hits over 21 innings. She struck out 31 in the playoffs, including 10 in Thursday's title-game win.
