THE PAGMETER
RAIN FOR RENT
2015 OFFENSIVE ALL VALLEY PAG METER TEAM
Charles Williams-Senior-Bullard Knights
Arguably the best back in the Valley, Williams will play at UNLV. Williams the CMAC Player of the Year and was runner up for Pag Meter Player of the Year. He had a fantastic career for the Knights rushing for 3,580 yards and scored 48 TD’s which ties a school record. This year he rushed for 2,142 yards and scored 28 TD’s. Williams was a huge part of the Knights west coast wing T offense and every team had to focus on Williams to beat the Knights.
Jake Seaney-Senior-Liberty Patriots
A big reason why the Patriots offense was so good was Jake upfront blocking. The Valley Champions loved to run behind Jake
Marcus Washington-Sophomore-Clovis East T Wolves
Another good year for Marcus. In 2016, all eyes will be on No 15 when he lines up in the back field
Darius Smith-Senior-Ridgeview Wolf Pack
Maybe the fastest and most dangerous player in the valley. He rushed for 1,553 yards and scored 23 touchdowns for the back to back division 2 section champions. Once the track star got loose….forget it
Daniel Schoene-Junior-Bakersfield Drillers
The biggest and most powerful lineman in the Valley at 6-6, 280 lbs and only a junior. Start the recruiting clock now heading into his senior year because every college will be knocking at his door
Trey Semien-Senior-Clovis East T Wolves
Will go down as the best QB in school history. He made the T Wolves offense dangerous with his arm and legs. Marcus Washington miss the T Wolves QB in 2016 because without Trey and the passing game, Marcus will get beat up with every defense focusing on the non passing game
Sean Chambers-Sophomore-Kerman Lions
The runner up for Pag Meter Sophomore of the Year and still only a puppy. The Lions will be a favorite the next 2 years winning the division 4 Section Championship with their dangerous 6-3, 210 lb QB. For that to happen, the Lions have to change up their offensive thinking before they get their QB crushed! The Lions offense is a blend of spread and a QB dive from the shotgun. It’s Chambers putting his head down running straight ahead. Hate it! He has speed and a cannon for an arm and finished with close to 3,000 of total yards with running and passing. If Chambers works his tail off starting now he will be recruited by so many including many big time colleges in Texas
Josh Sailor-Senior-Taft Wildcats
The big weapon on offense for the Wildcats rushing for 1,901 yards, scoring 17 touchdowns, and having over 2500 all purpose yards. He was also outstanding on kickoff returns. Taft was very successful when No 45 had the ball
Isaiah Jones-Senior-Porterville Panthers
The best running back in Panthers history who was the EYL Offensive Player of the Year. Jones led the valley with 2,376 rushing yards and scored 28 touchdowns. One of the most electric running backs in valley history
Ulisis Nunez-Senior-Tulare Union Redskins
The Tulare Union offensive line doesn’t get enough credit and leading the way was the EYL lineman of the year Nunez. Whoever the Redskins put in at running back, they would rush for 200 plus yards.
Juwuane Hughes-Senior-Hanford Bullpups
If the Bullpups didn’t have Hughes, they don’t win the division 3 section championship or state title. It’s that simple because he meant so much to Hanford. He broke his arm and missed 6 games and still caught 49 passes for 1,031 yards and scored 12 TD’s. On defense he made 45 tackles. Next stop is Fresno State
Colton Velasquez-Senior-Clovis Cougars
The most consistent player in the valley that executes so well at wide receiver. He caught 62 passes for 1,126 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. He had a knack to get open when the Cougars needed a big 1st down
Anthony Stewart-Senior-Chowchilla Redskins
One of the most dangerous and most electric runners in the Valley with the ball at running back, punt and kickoff returns. Stewart had a tremendous career for the division 4 section champions and this year he rushed for 1,701 yards and scored 21 touchdowns. I could never figure out why teams would punt and kick it to Stewart...Huge mistake!
Maxx Garris-Senior-Centennial Golden Hawks
One of the best run and pass blockers in the valley. Some are good at one or the other but Maxx was one of the best at both
Kolin Stock-Senior-CVC Cavaliers
Stock has speed and power and rushed for 1,924 yards and scored 24 touchdowns. Kolin rushed for over 250 yards in 4 games. He was the CSL Player of the Year
Dom Demarco-Senior-Frontier Titans
One of the most physical offensive lineman in the Valley, Demarco helped with the Titans running game. The Titans loved running behind Demarco
JJ Wills-Senior-Clovis Cougars
One of the reasons why the Cougars offense was soooo good. JJ had speed and ran great patterns. He caught 71 passes for 1,161 and scored 11 touchdowns. Next stop the University of Idaho.
Chase Mears-Senior-Ridgeview Wolf Pack
The Wolf Pack’s offense was off the charts and a big reason was Chase blocking up front. He leaves Ridgeview with 2 section championship Rings
Shayne Valdez-Senior-Clovis Cougars
The All TRAC linemen was one of the best in the valley! A big reason why the Cougars could throw for so many yards
Ryan Johnson-Junior-Hanford Bullpups
All Ryan does is win. Counting basketball, he has won 4 straight rings (2 basketball & 2 football) and now a State Championship ring. Ryan will go down as the best QB in Bullpup history and he still has a year to go. He threw for a school record 3,085 yards with 35 TD’s and rushed for 680 yards and scored 9 TD’s. Ryan was runner up for Pag Meter Offensive Player of the Year
Isaiah Hilliard-Senior-Sanger Apaches
One of the hardest runners in school history since Ted Torosian in 1975. Everybody knew that Isaiah would be getting the ball on big plays and they still couldn’t slow him down. He rushed for 1,532 yards which is 8th all time in Sanger history and scored 26 TD’s
Elisha Ortiz-Senior-Stockdale Mustangs
You put Ortiz on any other team that can throw the ball and he might rush for 3000 yards. There were 22 eyes on Ortiz on every play and I don’t care who you are, that is tough to run against. When you rush for 215 yards against Clovis and against one of the best defenses in the valley...enough said. He rushed for 1,082 yards and scored 10 touchdowns plus 251 yards in receptions and 4 TD catches
Michael Alvarez-Junior-Memorial Panthers
One of the best QB’s that is off the radar. He had a great arm and was dangerous running from the zone read. A true leader on the Panthers offense, look for Alvarez to be one of the top 3 best QB’s in the valley in 2016. He threw for 2,465 yards with 19 TD passes. With his legs he rushed for 595 yards and scored 9 TD’s playing against the tough CMAC teams
Quincy Jountti-Senior-Liberty Patriots
He got hot in the 2nd half of the year for the Valley Champions! In the playoffs, he rushed for 226 yards against Central, 191 against Bullard, and finished the year with 1,647 rushing yards and scored 21 touchdowns. Next stop Sacramento State
Joseph McDaniel-Senior-Hanford Bullpups
Jo Jo was named the WYL Offensive Player of the Year. Rushed for a school-record 2,169 yards and scored 25 touchdowns. He was a threat to score on every play
