No 6 Orange Cove (5-5) vs No 3 Sierra Pacific (8-3)

Final Sierra Pacific 49 Orange Cove 13

Pag Meter Early line Sierra Pacific -21

The Scoop

Sierra Pacific beat Orange Cove 46-14 in week 3

The Pag Meter says that the Golden Bears have played the tougher schedule and will play in the semifinals.
Pag Meter Prediction Sierra Pacific 44 Orange Cove 13
Final SIERRA PACIFIC 49 ORANGE COVE 13
Both teams come in off byes

The Golden Bears are hot and take on the East Sierra league champion Titans. The Titans have improved a bunch since SP beat them in week 3 but so has the Golden Bears.

The X factor is can the Titans handle the Golden Bears running game and Miguel Wharton who has rushed for 1,717 yards and scored 18 TD’s?

The Pag Meter says that the Golden Bears have played the tougher schedule and will play in the semifinals.
Pag Meter Prediction Sierra Pacific 44 Orange Cove 13
Final SIERRA PACIFIC 49 ORANGE COVE 13

The Golden Bears will play the winner of McFarland or Avenal in the semifinals.

Friday Night Lights Playoff Football

The Pag Meter might need new batteries after this week because I can’t remember a year where the quarterfinals were so tough to call with teams being so even and we should have some great football played!!

There are 24 quarterfinal games and at least 15 games are a toss up. You could be seeing a few upsets!

Buckle up because we are going for a ride

No 8 Edison (5-7) at No 1 Clovis (10-1)

Final Clovis 28  Edison 6

Pag Meter Early line Clovis -7

The Scoop
The best defense vs the best and hottest offense
How they got to the quarterfinals

Edison beat Bakersfield 16-6

Clovis comes in off a bye

Everybody in the valley is already making plans for the Clovis Cougars playing at Lamonica Stadium in the semifinals. It could happen but it won’t be a walk in the park. It was a cake walk

This is a great matchup with the defending champion Tigers vs the No 1 team Clovis Cougars. Everybody in the valley thinks that this game is over when they do the coin toss. Maybe or maybe not??

Let me tell….they could be wrong. No question the Cougars are the best team right now but football is about matchups and the Tigers matchup well with the Cougars. They always have. The Tigers are so much faster and it's not close but the Cougars have the hot QB.

I know I know, I can hear it now, but Pag Meter, Edison almost lost and looked real bad in the win over Bakersfield!
So true, Can't argue that one. Here are some of the reason why you never look at the Tigers in a game a week before.

No 1, The game plan was ugly. The Drillers put 9 players in the box  most of the time and the Tigers still ran right at them.
No 2, the Drillers have speed everywhere and the Drillers were in no way a threat to win that game. Zero threat!  The Drillers defense stepped up and played well. The Tigers were sleep walking thru the game.

No 3, The Drillers vs Tigers is a great old classic rivalry and in a rivalry game all bets are off.

No 4, All week long and a lot of people don’t know but Edison had an investigation after the Bullard game with a fight and it was hard on the team. Tough to concentrate.  Bottom line, nothing happened and it all worked out.

No 5, the Tigers were flat out beat up after playing the Knights the week before. The Crosstown Classic takes a lot out of Bullard and Edison mentally and physically. It’s a war when Edison plays Bullard.

No 6, this week just 2 days before the game against Clovis, there was a shooting close to Edison high school and the school was shut down right when practice was just starting and practice was canceled.  Wednesday is a very important day of practice.

That being said since 2004, Edison is 4-3 over Clovis and has won 2 straight.

The Tigers have struggled early in the year because they played a tough schedule that they were not ready for. They were in every game. The Tigers are a completely different team from last year and even from week 1. The defense is playing at the top of their game now. The offense isn’t great but they are tough upfront. The Tigers X Factor is the offensive coaching staff!!

RB Jaylan King is running well running behind a much improved O-line.

The other Tigers X factor is sophomore QB Gerard Mendez. Mendez needs to run the offense and make great decisions to pull the upset. Sometimes Mendez gets lazy and won’t carry out his fakes and that hurts the offense but if he can stay focused on every play, watch out.

For the Cougars they have a high powered offense with red hot QB Sean Kuenzinger who has thrown for 2,463-yards with 27 TD passes and has two outstanding targets with Coltin Velasquez and JJ Wills. The Cougars have won some games when they didn’t have their A game and that you can’t teach. The Cougar players step up every game and make plays and that's why they are 9-1. Edison had that gift last year. A win is a win.

The great matchup is the Tigers defense vs the Cougars offense. I'm excited to see how this plays out. Cougars  O beat up the Tigers D

QB Kuenzinger gets rid of the ball so fast that the Tigers pressure might not be a factor so the Tigers defensive secondary will be tested.

Can the Tigers slow down the Cougars passing attack? It won’t be easy. The Cougars will be running RB Josh Hokit straight up the middle or behind the pulling guards and will try to pound the Tigers.

The X factor could be on the other side of the ball with the Tigers offense vs the Cougars defense. That will tell us a lot after 48 minutes.

The Pag Meter says this will end up like a baseball comparision. In the big game, Baseball comes down to that big two-out RBI hit with runners in scoring position that wins games.

This comes down to the same thing on who can make the big play on the huge down?  Clovis did and Edison didn't

The Pag Meter has had the best year ever for upset picks with 8 out of 11 weeks a winner. This would be the biggest upset since No 8 Centennial and Cody Kessler beat No 1 Buchanan in 2009.

Pag Meter Prediction (UPSET SPECIAL) Edison 22 Clovis 21

Final Clovis 28 Edison 16

The Pag Meter was waaaaaay off. The Cougars are by far a better team. Edison was done after the Bullard game. The Cougars defense is the real deal

No 5 Clovis North (7-4) at No 4 Buchanan (7-4)

Final Clovis North 45 Buchanan 28

Pag Meter Early line Buchanan -3
The Scoop

The Bears beat the Broncos 31-28 in week 10

How both teams got to the Quarterfinals

Clovis North Beat Clovis East 55-35

Buchanan comes in off a bye

You just know that both teams have watched the game film a 100 times. The Bears beat the Broncos in week 10 for the 1st time in school history and now they have to do it again to advance to the semifinals.

The Broncos have outstanding running back Jayson Lee who might never come off the field the rest of the way. Junior running back Jordan Ayerza comes in having his best game yet rushing for 156 yards and scoring 3 TD’s in the win over Clovis East. QB Jeremy Miller is playing well and WR Chad Fugman is making big catches. The offense is good and the CN defense??

For the Bears they have two very good running backs with  Chuby Dunu and Trevor Ervin and they both run hard.

The Bears defense lost one of their studs with DE/OLB Ben Parker who is out for the year with a knee injury and that hurts one of the best defenses in the valley to not have No 47 out there.

The X factor is you just don’t know what team will show up with the Bears on the offensive side of the ball. I’m thinking they will be fired up.

The Bears will finally pull the trigger and start Junior QB Logan LeForge.  LeForge is an outstanding passer and I can’t figure out why they waited until the quarterfinals to make the move?  Talking about pressure on a young QB!

Will the Bears try to pound it right at a Broncos defense. The Bears with LeForge can now throw the ball and that will help.

The Broncos defense has struggled for most of the year but they played well on Friday. Don’t go by the score because the CN vs CE game was a blow out. The Broncos X Factor is the defense! Will they step up this week?

The Pag Meter says that this game will come down to which team makes the better adjustments after playing in week 10 against each other. Hudl has been very  busy this week. It's tough to beat the same team again in the same year.

Pag Meter Prediction (Mini upset) Clovis North 38 Buchanan 34

Final Clovis North 45 Buchanan  28

Huge fight at the end of the game

Bottom Bracket

No 6 Clovis West (6-5) vs No 3 Bullard (9-2)

Final Bullard 35 Clovis West 28

Pag Meter Early line Bullard -7

The Scoop

The Knights beat the Golden Eagles 42-23 in week 5

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Clovis West beat Frontier 30-10

Bullard comes in off a bye

Back in week 5 the Knights were playing at their highest level and CW wasn’t. The Knights beat up the Golden Eagles with their west coast wing T. Playing against that style of offense is always easier the 2nd go around.

Now to the quarterfinals, the Knights are kind of off the radar and the talk is Liberty and Clovis for the big game but the Knights should be in the conversation. The Golden Eagles come in playing their best football on both sides of the ball. CW is exactly where the Knights were last year. Last year the Knights knew that they were one year away and Clovis West is very good right now but very young. CW should be the No 1 team in the valley to start the 2016 season.

Back in week 5, the Knights were more physical upfront in beating Clovis West so the battle up front will be fun to watch.

The X factor for the Golden Eagles is sophomore QB Adrian Martinez. He can beat you running and throwing. Adrian needs to have his best game against a very good Knights defense which is led by junior linebackers Cameron Lamanuzzi and Ben Baker.

CW star Caleb Kelly also needs to have a big game on both sides of the ball.

The X factor for the Knights and it always the same thing...It’s the passing game. Junior QB Jack Taylor needs to get hot for the Knights to win it all. Also keep an eye on RB/WR Sydney Washington because he is dangerous and the Knights need to get him the football.

The Pag Meter says that all 5000 plus fans at McLane Stadium all know that the Knights are going to feed the ball to the best back in the valley Charles Williams who has rushed for 1,841 yards and has scored 20 TD’s. CW can watch the game film from back in week 5 all they want and it will be the same in this game...The Knights are lining up and will want to knock your head off.

That being said, the Knights have to have a plan B if the Golden Eagles watch the Sanger film and win the line of scrimmage. Against Sanger, Bullard had zero plan B. Bullard has had 2 weeks to come up with something. Hint....Sydney Washington!

The winner of this game will be more physical upfront. Can the Golden Eagles run between the tackles with Kahlil Harshaw? If so, that will help the rest of the offense.

The Golden Eagles defense played outstanding against Clovis in week 10 and thumped the Titans last Friday. This is the perfect time to play the Knights.

Hey Bullard Knights, you are still one of the top teams in the valley and still one of the favorites to win it all. The Sanger loss should be a wake up call. The Knights play better when they are the hunters and not the hunted. That means, the Knights are not a mentally good team when they are No 1 but a fantastic team when they are playing the No 1 team. There is a difference. I say it all the time about Edison and it’s the same this year for Bullard, the only team that can beat Bullard is Bullard.

Pag Meter prediction Bullard 24 Clovis West 17

Final Bullard 35 Clovis West 28

The Knights hang on

No 10 Central (4-8) at No 2  Liberty (7-3)

Final Liberty 40 Central 27

Pag Meter Early line Liberty -18

The Scoop

These teams were supposed to play on 9/11 but we had bad air Friday.

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Central beat Centennial 30-19

Liberty comes in off a bye

The Grizzlies beat up Centennial and the young Grizzlies are playing with house money and that means they are not supposed to beat the Patriots so go in and fly around the ball. The Grizzlies are much better from 9/11 when both teams were supposed tp play.

Liberty is fresh and Central is back on the bus to Bakersfield.

Can Grizzlies senior QB Nick Szpor have a great game and pull the shocker? Liberty QB Jordan Love is the real deal and ready to get his team back in the title game. The Patriots defense is very good! They have no holes in the Patriots defense.

The Pag Meter says and this won’t make the south valley happy but the south valley football is way down this year. Liberty is crushing weaker teams in the south valley with ugly scores and everybody thinks that Liberty can beat the Oakland Raiders. That being said, Liberty is not down and are head and shoulders better than anybody in the south valley except for Ridgeview

Pag Meter prediction Liberty 38 Central 20

Final Liberty 40 Central 27

DIVISION 2 PLAYOFFS

No 9 West (6-6) at No 1 Ridgeview (11-0)

Final Ridgeview 54 West 35

Pag Meter Early line Ridgeview -27

The Scoop

Ridgeview beat West 48-13 in week 7

How they both got to the quarterfinals

West beat Independence 17-0

Ridgeview comes off a bye

The Vikings could beat the Wolf Pack if they had more Josh Boyd's.

Josh Boyd took the game over in the win over Indy with 7 catches from QB Christopher Coleman with 183 yards in receiving. Boyd caught 2 TD passes of 60 and 75 yards.

The X factor is the Vikings defense against the most dangerous offense.

The Pag Meter says that the Vikings will not be able to hang with the Wolf Pack.

Pag Meter prediction Ridgeview 40 West 14

Final Ridgeview 54 West 35

No 5 Sunnyside (8-3) at No 4 Tulare Union (9-2)

Final Sunnyside 46 Tulare Union 14

Pag Meter Early line Tulare Union -3

The Scoop

Will Romello Harris play this week? Probably not.

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Sunnyside comes off a bye

Tulare Union comes off a bye

This is a very interesting game. The Wildcats will play well against good teams and not show up against the weaker teams. The Wildcats have tremendous talent and can compete with anybody.

Tulare Union looks like they won’t have their star back Romello Harris but don’t worry Redskin fans, you still have super sophomore Kazmeir Allen who is also dangerous. TU got beat in the Bell game to Tulare Western and we will see if that was a wake up call.

The Wildcats have junior QB Nate Hughes who has thrown for 2,028 yards with 16 TD passes.

The X factor in this game is both defenses. TU wasn’t ready for TW and was pounded up front. Sunnyside played a little tougher schedule in non league but not by much. They were sleep walking playing in the NYL.

The Pag Meter says that this is a very even game. They both have talent and both have issues I have this feeling that the Tulare Western loss and Harris not playing will be tough on TU.

Pag Meter prediction (semi mini upset) Sunnyside 33 Tulare Union 28

Final Sunnyside 46 Tulare Union 14

Bottom Bracket

No 6 Garces (2-9) at No 3 Sanger (10-1)

Final Sanger 13 Garces 10

Pag Meter Early line Sanger -18

The Scoop
last time the Apaches played the Rams was in the 2012 section championship game, the Rams won 49-24.

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Garces comes in off a bye

Sanger comes in off a bye

The only ones that remember the 2012 game is the Sanger coaching staff. The Rams are playing their best football heading into the legendary Tom Flores stadium. The Rams record is ugly playing in the SWYL and now has to slow down the Apaches.

The Rams are very young and will come in with junior QB Jack Tobias, sophomore RB Isaiah Martin and junior WR’s of Scott Boylan and Conor Bruce.

The Apaches will counter with red hot RB Isaiah Hilliard who is having a tremendous year. Sanger is a hungry team and runs the ball so well but the strength is the defense.

The X factor is the Rams front 7 on defense. They could be out there a long time.

The Pag Meter says that the Rams will throw it all over the yard and the Apaches defense is very good against the pass. The Rams are much better when Tobias took over at QB but the south valley football is down and that helped a young Rams team.

Pag Meter prediction Sanger 25 Garces 7

Final Sanger 13 Garces 10

Rams had a 10-0 lead at the half

No 7 El Diamante (5-6)  at No 2 Lemoore (9-2)

Final Lemoore 24 El Diamante 7

Pag Meter Early line Lemoore -28

The Scoop

The Tigers beat the Miners 35-0 in week 9

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

El Diamante comes in off a bye

Lemoore comes in off a bye

The Miners had no answers in week 9 against the Tigers so what can the Miners do just 3 weeks later?

The Miners have watched plenty of film of the game and they ran into a wall. Can the Miners break that wall?

The X factor is the Miners offense and can they score this week? Miners RB Keylan Liles has  rushed for 836 yards on the year but only 71 yards against Lemoore.

The Tigers are loaded with all kinds of talent and it starts with QB Logan Ahlin who is 89-of-127 for 1,435 yards, and 23 TD passes.  Logan’s receivers are Reggie Davis (36 catches, 569 yards, 8 TDs), Allen Perryman (31 catches, 503 yards, 9 TDs) and AJ Bow (22 catches, 435 yards, 3 TDs)

The Pag Meter says that the Miners are searching for the end zone and the Tigers are thinking section section title.

Pag Meter prediction Lemoore 35 El Diamante 7

Final Lemoore 24 El Diamante 7

DIVISION 3 PLAYOFFS

Top Bracket

No 8 Kingsburg (6-6) at No 1 Hanford (10-1)

Final Hanford 42 Kingsburg 7

Pag Meter Early line Hanford -24

The Scoop

The Bullpups beat the Vikings 62-33 in week 0

How they both got to the quarterfinals

Vikings beat Madera 38-26

Hanford comes in off a bye

In week 0, the defending champion Bullpups slaughtered the Vikings and now the Vikings are so much better and the Bullpups have had 2 weeks to think about the loss in week 10 to Lemoore. The Bullpups are still the team to beat in division 3, it just won’t be a slam dunk. Hanford has had  injuries and Lemoore showed the blueprint on how to beat Hanford. Hanford’s kryptonite might be playing against a physical team because Lemoore crushed them by winning the line of scrimmage. The good news for the Bullpups is nobody in division 3 plays like the Lemoore Tigers.

The Vikings are a team with speed and they don't play like lemoore so Hanford might just be ok.

The Vikings have QB Anthony Sierra who has thrown for 1,943 yards this season with 12 TD passes. RB Seth Brooks comes off a great game in the win over Madera and rushed for 1,029  yards, and has scored 15 TDs this year. Brother Emmett Brooks has 29 receptions for 712 yards.

The Bullpups will have QB Ryan Johnson back and ready to go after getting knocked out in week 8.  Johnson has thrown for 1,813 yards with 20 TD’s.  Running back Jo Jo McDaniel has rushed for 1,416 yards and scored 16 TD’s.

The X factor is the Vikings defense because they will give up points.

The Pag Meter says that the Vikings will play this game much closer but has to play great defense to stay in this game. This could be a shoot out.

Pag Meter prediction Hanford 44 Kingsburg 17

Final Hanford 42 Kingsburg 7

No 13 Highland (5-7) at No 12 Golden Valley (6-6)

Final Golden Valley 28 Highland 9

Pag Meter Early line Highland -2

The Scoop

Golden Valley beat Highland 21-12 on 9/11

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Highland beat Bakersfield Christian 28-14

Golden Valley beat Fresno High 35-33

The two cinderella teams square off and the winner heads to the semifinals.

Both teams are so much better than when they played each other on 9/11.

The X factor is the battle on the line of scrimmage.

The Pag Meter says that Golden Valley has the better offense and Highland has the better defense.

This should be a very good game! If these teams played 50 times, they would probably be 25-25 but who will win in this game? I like the Scots because they have a playoff style football team that will pound it with the rock and play good defense.

Pag Meter prediction Highland 27 Golden Valley 24

Final Highland 28 Highland 9

Bottom Bracket

No 6 Tulare Western (9-3)  at No 3 Tehachapi (7-3)

Final Tulare Western 15 Tehachapi 8

Pag Meter Early line Tehachapi -2 ½

The Scoop

This could be the best game of the week!

How did both teams got to the quarterfinals

Tulare Western beat North 41-7

Tehachapi comes in off a bye

This is a really good matchup of two teams that will strap it up and will want to hit you.

The X Factor is who wins the line of scrimmage on a cold night in the mountains?

The Warriors are healthy now and needed the bye and the Mustangs are smokin hot and didn’t want a bye when you are hot!

The Pag Meter says that Tehachapi has the big home field advantage but it won’t matter to Tulare Western where they play especially after beating Tulare in week 10. TW has not won a road playoff game since 1986 and players weren't even born yet including some of the coaches so who cares. This game could come down to the final minutes. Which defense can slow down the run will win.

Pag Meter prediction Tulare Western 19 Tehachapi 16

No 7 South (9-3) at No 2Memorial (10-3)

Final Memorial 27 South 21

Pag Meter Early line Memorial -9

The Scoop

Both teams play outstanding defense

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

South beat Reedley 39-7

Memorial comes in off a bye

This is the big and physical Scots vs the speedy Panthers.

Just a few years ago the Panthers had a team just like the Scots. Big up front with a powerful/speedy running back like P.J. Jones and now the Panthers are a spread it out with a throw it and run it offense.

The X factor is the Scots offense and can they work the clock against the Panthers defense?

The Pag Meter says that the Panthers offense is very good when QB Michael Alvarez gets it going. The problem for the Rebels is this will be the best team they will have seen this year and I stick by the strength of schedule rule. Take the team with the tougher schedule.

Pag Meter prediction Memorial 30 South 21

No 9 Kerman (7-4) at No 1 Central Valley Christian (8-3)

Final Kerman 21 CVC 14

Pag Meter Early line CVC -7

The Scoop

The Lions have another tough road game

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Kerman beat Taft 28-27

CVC comes in on a bye

The Lions might still be on a high after last week’s thrilling win with the Sean Chambers Hail-Mary pass to Brandon Smith.

A recap, With 8 seconds to go and the Lions down 27-20. Lions QB Sean Chambers made the biggest play in school history throwing the ball 65 yards in the air and WR Brandon Smith made the catch in the end zone for a 48 yard Hail-mary TD to make the score 27-26.

The Lions lined up for the extra point and the tie but the Wildcats were called for roughing the kicker. The Lions decided to go for the win at the 1 yard line. C.J. Palma scored on the 2 point play and Kerman is playing this week.  Final 28-27. CVC probably started scouting Taft and then switch to Kerman.

This is the speedy and talented Lions vs the big and powerful Cavaliers.

When you hear big and powerful, that means the team speed is not the best.

The X factor is can the Lions strapped it up and play physical against the Cavaliers?

This game is simple to figure out…. if the Lions can prepare for a war on the line of scrimmage, then they can beat the No 1 CVC Cavaliers. If not CVC wins by 28. This is the kind of team that CVC has trouble with because the Lions are very athletic.

The Pag Meter says that CVC is more consistent and Lions are like the stock market with being up and down. Can the Lions make great decisions? I see the Lions hanging around but CVC will wear them down. There is always that team that nobody counts on to win it all and this year it could be the Kerman Lions!

Pag Meter prediction CVC 27 Kerman 21

Final Kerman 21 CVC 14

No 5 Madera South (5-6) at No 4 Chowchilla (9-2)

Final Chowchilla 27 Madera South 20

Pag Meter Early line Madera South -2

The Scoop

This is a rematch from Week 0 and Chowchilla beat MS 51-28

It’s the best player in the valley with Jonah Johnson vs a speedy Redskins defense

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Both teams come in off a bye.

These guys opened up the season so long ago and the Redskins rolled the Stallions. Madera South is soooo much better now. The Redskins were so good at the beginning of the year. Then with the loss to  Immanuel, the team had some doubts. They got the momentum back and beat three very good teams and then hit a wall in the loss to Washington Union. The Redskins lost their best back Alex Gutierrez to a broken arm 4 weeks ago and what a stud, he has the cast off and wants to play this week. Alex is the team's downhill runner with heart. Stay tuned on Alex if he plays tonight.

Madera South comes in after playing in the 2nd toughest league in the valley and is battle tested like no other. They also have the best player in the valley with QB Jonah Johnson and it’s not a close race. Johnson is the most dominating player since Anthony McCoy played at Bullard.  Johnson played against Bullard and Edison and it looked like he was playing against 8th graders….He’s that good.

The X Factor is the Stallions defense and the other 10 Stallions offensive players because there will be 22 eyes on Johnson on every play.

The Pag Meter says with the week off really helped Johnson because he was beat up from playing in the CMAC.  If the Stallions win this game, watch out because they can win it all.

Pag Meter prediction Madera South 28 Chowchilla 25

This is the most interesting game of the week!

Selma beat McLane 42-21

Washington Union comes off a bye

The Bears started the year red hot, went into a mini slump during the CSL and now red hot again.

The Panthers have played outstanding defense all year.

This is the Central Sequoia vs the North Sequoia.

The X Factor is the Panthers offense.

The Pag Meter says that the Bears are playing stronger on both sides of the ball over all.

Pag Meter prediction( Mini upset) Selma 24 Washington Union 23

No 7 Exeter (8-4) at No 2 Chavez (10-1)

Final Chavez 28 Exeter 17

Pag Meter Early line Chavez-14

The Scoop

The hot Monarchs offense vs the hot Titans defense

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Exeter beat Liberty 52-49

Chavez comes in off a bye

This is the most interesting matchup of the week. The Monarchs are scoring at will and the Titans don’t give up anything on defense.

The X Factor is the other side of the ball with the Monarchs defense vs the Titans offense.

The Titans have been crushing everybody in their way and will be physical on the line of scrimmage.

The Pag Meter says that the Monarchs defense must play better this week to win on the road. The Monarchs are very good at home.

Can Exeter’s defense play a great game up front?

No 8 Caruthers (7-5) vs No 1 Immanuel (9-2)

Final Immanuel 44 Caruthers 14

Pag Meter Early line Immanuel -20

The Scoop

The Blue Raiders are playing their best football. Will that be enough?

How both teams got to the quarterfinals

Caruthers beat Lindsay 37-0

Immanuel comes in off a bye

The Eagles have steam rolled everybody in division 5. The Eagles are that in between team where they really should be playing in division 4 but can’t beat the top 8 teams in D4 but will crushed the rest. Can anybody in division 5 stay with the Eagles?

The Blue Raiders come in playing their best football all year.

The X Factor is Caruthers running back Alex Puga who is at 2,272 yards rushing and that is a school record. Can the Blue Raiders pound the ball and stay in this game?

The Pag Meter says that Caruthers will hang around but Immanuel is tough on the turf.

Pag Meter prediction Immanuel 41 Immanuel 21

No 5 Kern Valley (8-3) at No 4 Woodlake (9-2)

Final Woodlake 34 Kern Valley 17

Pag Meter Early line Woodlake -14

The Scoop

Both teams smokin hot! Long bus ride for the Broncs

Both teams come in off byes
