One of the best games in week 2. Both teams are scoring a bunch of points. Both teams can pound the ball. Sanger has Isaiah Hilliard who rushed for 191 yards and scored 3 TD’s in the win over Hoover. Clovis East has super sophomore Marcus Washington who rushed for 194 yards and scored 4 TD’s in the win over Redwood.
The X Factor in this game is the defense and which D plays better. The Apaches defense might be a tad better.

Are the Tigers hitting their stride? If so they are 2 weeks early. Edison always gets off to a slow start. Edison really should be 2-0 but because of the bad game plan on defense, Edison lost to Buchanan. Edison didn’t bring defensive pressure against Buchanan and brought pressure in the win at Bakersfield.
Pag Meter says I’m thinking the Tigers will be aggressive the rest of the year on defense and if not, there should be a change! Last year Merced was a spread offense that threw the ball down field but this year the Bears will want to pound the ball. Big injury for the Tigers is William Lee who broke his ankle in the Bakersfield game.

The game of the night! The powerhouse from Sacramento Grant Pacers head to the valley and to McLane stadium.
Last year the young Knights played the North power even for 45 minutes at 14-14 but Bullard gave up some late TD’s and lost 28-14. This year they are both loaded.
The Bullard Knights defense is the best in the valley and defensive coordinator Yosef Fares has the Knights playing outstanding. Boy did Sunnyside high school blow it because they should have hired Yosef as the head coach to build up the underachieving Wildcats but the best move after all was for Yosef to stay at Bullard. Until Sunnyside is ready to commit to a football program, they will always be treading water so good move for Yosef.
Grant will want to pound it all night long with a huge offensive line with RB’s of Deshawn Collins and Mike Green.
Pag Meter says that the X Factor is the Bullard passing game and hot weather. The west coast wing T is a good offense but QB Jack Taylor has to be on his game for Charles Williams to get it going. If not, Grant will focus on Williams all night long. Against Buchanan, the Knights struggled throwing the ball. If the Knights are going to win, the offense has to have a big KNIGHT because the defense sure will. I’m thinking by now Bullard has figured out all the problems they had on their special teams. Bullard held Buchanan to -26 yards rushing and almost lost because of the special teams. You might not see anybody back deep this week when returning punts for the Knights.
Bullard is one of the best shape teams around so if it is really hot it will help the Knights. Also Grant doesn’t lift weights like Bullard does and that could pay off for the Knights. Grant has some major talent but sometimes undisciplined. This would be a huge win for the Knights!

Are the Bears a contender? We will find out soon. The Bears are a tail of two teams. Amazing defense and a struggling offense. It’s been the same for 3 years and now they have some injuries including Chuby Dunu who could be out after running into MLB Ben Baker of the Knights. The Tigers come in losing to Clovis 41-24. Last year Lemoore beat Buchanan 21-3.
The Pag Meter says that Tigers QB Logan Allin is questionable and that's not good if he can't play. Lemoore and Buchanan’s defenses are good, Lemoore’s offense is good with plenty of speed so can the Bears offense have a good game? The Bears defense is to good for Lemoore. It's that simple. The Bears have had 2 straight grinding games and both games came down to the last play of the game. They are hoping for a good ride home.

The Patriots have had turnovers and penalties and star QB Jordan has been out with concussion symptoms. The Grizzlies are also making so many mistakes including wide receivers who can’t catch footballs.

The Stallions got a huge win at Kerman 7-0. Jonah Johnson scored on a 9 yard TD run with 13 seconds to go. The Hawks last lost a game on Oct 25th, 2013 to Washington Union and now has a 20 game winning streak.
The Pag Meter says that the Hawks play the softest division 4 schedule but until somebody can beat them...it doesn’t matter. The Hawks have 3 straight rings. The Hawks schedule is six division 5 teams and four division 4 teams.

Pag Meter says and I still believe Dinuba playing Bullard in the scrimmage will help Dinuba in the long run because Hanford doesn’t have the size and speed of Bullard and Leppke is ready to have a breakout game. Also Hanford hasn’t been tested as of yet.
