Lemoore has won 9 straight over Hanford West. HW scored 27 on Hanford in the Dog Bowl but Lemoore's defense is better than Hanford's Defense.

The Panthers are banged up and come off a big win over Sunnyside 28-20.  SJM linemen Blake Schmiederer and Richard Ramirez are both out and QB Michael Alvarez still has a bad knee.  Hoover comes off a shutout loss to Washington Union 21-0. SJM could have a little let down and one thing SJM needs to remember is Hoover almost beat Madera!!!  The Panthers are injuried and this is a survival game to try to get to 5-0 heading into the CMAC and against Edison.  Remember .....Thursday nights are always a strange nights for upsets!

Frontier lost to Ridgeview but played tough but has not played any tough teams. If Frontier is a contender then they must win at home

The Emperors are struggling at throwing the football and this week the Redskins defense can be beat. Romello Harris could be back but it doesn’t matter. Apparently anybody can play running back at Tulare and rushed for 300 yards. RB Kazmeir Allen rushed for 321 yards and scored  4 touchdowns in the win over Kingsburg when Harris was out of action and Allen had about 3 minutes to get ready.

Pag Meter says that this is USC vs Notre Dame game every year. One of the best rivalries in central valley history. So many big games throughout the years...This year both teams come in semi even. Clovis West had to wait 2 weeks to play Bullard and were not physical enough in the 42-23 loss. Edison comes off a bye after losing to Clovis North 17-10 and didn’t have enough offense. 
This is a great matchup of the Golden Eagles up tempo offense vs the Tigers pressure defense. Can the Tigers defense keep up? That’s the biggest question. The Tigers are not the best shape team in the valley and CW will try to take advantage of it. CW sophomore QB Adrian Martinez will be huge for the Tigers to slow down especially running. CW is not a big north-south running team and loves to run east and west and that is hard to do against the Tigers defense. On the other side of the ball will be interesting with the Tigers offense vs the CW defense. It is hard for CW to prepare what the Tigers will be bringing because Edison doesn’t really have a game plan. They just show up and call plays. The Tigers are a week away from getting their QB eligible with sophomore Gerald Mendez who is sitting out his 36 days transferring from Sunnyside. 
This will be a close game if the Tigers can slow down the quick passing game of Martinez and his two big targets of Caleb Kelly and Darian Owens. CW is a big play team and a 2nd half team. The other big question will be the Tigers defense and can they line up quickly against the uptempo CW offense?   
Edison needs to slow the game down with long drives...It will help Edison if it is a cool night.

A win by Madera South and the state will hear the news because the Hawks have the longest winning streak. Liberty has 580 students at the school and Madera South has 2750 and they are both in division 4.....wait....what!  Stallions should be in division 2 and the Hawks should be division 5. The X factor is Stallions QB Jonah Johnson and if he goes off Madera South wins. The Hawks have 3 games left with Madera South, Washington Union on Oct 23rd and Chowchilla in week 10 that can stop the streak.  Does it end on Friday? 2750 vs 580...it's like Hickory in the movie the Hoosier
